Celebrates Successful Completion of ILC Grant Projects: Aim Higher and HI Project
Adelaide, SA – Community Bridging Services (CBS) Inc. is thrilled to announce a celebration event marking the successful conclusion of two impactful ILC Grant Projects: Aim Higher and the HI Project. The event will take place on Monday, 17th June 2024.
For the past three years, the Aim Higher and HI Project initiatives have significantly contributed to enhancing career opportunities and skills development for individuals with disabilities across South Australia.
Aim Higher has focused on providing expert career planning and education to students with disabilities in metropolitan, regional, and remote schools. By working closely with schools and parents, Aim Higher has successfully prepared students for a variety of career paths, with an emphasis on open employment.
HI Project, in collaboration with Sprout Cooking School and the Flinders University Nutrition & Dietetics unit, has equipped people with disabilities with the skills necessary for employment in the hospitality sector. Designed and delivered in an accessible manner, this project has opened doors for participants passionate about hospitality.
To commemorate the achievements of these projects, the celebration event will feature first-hand testimonials from participants and insightful presentations from distinguished guest speakers.
