Announcement of Vice-Regal Patronage for CBS Inc.
Community Bridging Services (CBS) Inc. is excited to announce that Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, and Mr Rod Bunten have agreed to become joint patrons of CBS Inc.
Established in 1996, CBS Inc. is a wholly South Australian independent not-for-profit community organisation, providing quality services to assist individuals with a disability or disadvantage, to realise their full potential and achieve their goals. Our programs are state-wide and focus on open employment, Recreation, NDIS supports, Social Enterprises and further education. CBS Inc. has full DGR Charitable status.
Having the support of Her Excellency and Mr Bunten marks a significant milestone in our journey, and we are deeply grateful for their recognition of the work we do to create a more inclusive and empowered community.
Her Excellency said:
“Rod and I honoured to lend our patronage to Community Bridging Services, an organisation grounded in the belief that every person, regardless of circumstance, deserves the opportunity to live a life of meaning, dignity and purpose.
“CBS Inc. provides vital pathways to employment, and offers programs that inspire creativity, build confidence, and foster connection.
“Through this holistic and person-centred approach, individuals are empowered to take ownership of their lives and confidently shape their futures.
“We look forward to lending our patronage to CBS Inc. as it continues to foster inclusion, opportunity, and belonging for South Australians across the state.”
We have also had the honour of working closely with previous Governors, most notably the late Dame Roma Mitchell and Rear Admiral Kevin Scarce AC, the former who served as our Patron for several years, until her passing.
