The new breed of entrepeneurs chasing NDIS profit

Former Archer Capital partner Rishabh Mehotra and his CEO Karn Gosh are the new breed of entrepreneur positioning themselves for a slice of the $22 billion National Disability Services pie.

Their company, HIT100, initially started out selling tailor-made meals for diabetics but is now a registered NDIS provider offering dietitians, food coaching, meal plans and home-delivered meals for people with disabilities.

It has less than 1000 customers but has ambitions to grow by 10 times within 18 months as it expands beyond its home state of NSW and establishes a presence across the country.

“We’re excited to have an opportunity where we can have an impact and a good business model, and we’re very supportive of the direction of patient-centric funding model with the NDIS,” Mehotra says.
